SCIENCE 1ST LEVEL "WATER CYCLE"

This time at 1st level science, we have learned a few more about how water works in our planet. First of all we presented the topic through a video and a brief explaination about the water cycle. After that we could test that water turns into vapor when we heat it up and turns back into liquid water when gets cold again. Finally we coloured a beautiful worksheet where we could appreciate the whole process.

Aquesta vegada a science de 1r, hem aprés una mica més sobre com funciona l'aigua al nostre planeta. Primer mitjançant una presentació de vídeo i una explicació sobre el cicle de l'aigua hem presentat el tema. Desprès hem fet un experiment on es veia que l'aigua es transforma en vapor quan s'escalfa i torna a fer-se liquida quan es gela de nou. Finalment hem fet una fitxa per visualitzar tot el procés.

SCIENCE 2nd LEVEL "THE AIR"

This time we have learnt few features about THE AIR. Through experiments we have enjoyed learning that the air weights and takes up a space. We could also speak about our planet and some ways to preserve it. Here you will find some pictures of the activities.

Aquesta vegada hem après algunes característiques que té l'aire. A traves d'experiments hem gaudit aprenent que l'aire pesa i ocupa un espai. També hem pogut parlar sobre el nostre planeta i diferents formes de tenir-ne cura. Aqui trobareu algunes imatges de l'activitat.

SCIENCE 2ND LEVEL "LANDSCAPES"

In our first Science lesson of the year with the second level we could learn different landscapes and few features about them. First of all we played a presentation to show the different kind of landscapes, after that we spoke about some features of them, we used adjectives to do it. Later on we had a worksheet to colour and identify the different kinds of landscapes.

To sum up we could enjoy different types of activities at the same time that we learnt new vocabulary.

A la primera sessió de Science de l'any amb els grups de segon, vam aprendre diferents tipus de paisatges i algunes característiques que en tenen. En primer lloc vam reproduir una presentació per tal de coneixer els diferents paisatges, a continuació vam parlar d'algunes característiques que en podem trobar a cadascun, hem utilitzat adjectius per fer-ho. Desprès vam treballar una fitxa per colorejar i identificar els diferents tipus de paisatges. 

En resum, vam gaudir d'activitats diferents al mateix temps que vam aprendre vocabulari nou.

SCIENCE 1st LEVEL: "SENSES"

We are back from holidays and keep to our usual routine with a Science lesson.

Pupils from 1st level have worked today with the five senses. First of all we reminded "Parts of the Body" vocabulary, aiming to share them with the "Senses" later on.

After that we sang the "Five Senses Song" that you will find in this post so you can enjoy it at home.

The last part of the lesson was a worksheet to cut, share and stick the senses with it's own part of the body. 

To sum up, we have enjoyed having different activities at the same time that we have learnt new vocabulary.

Tornem de les vacances i continuem amb la rutina habitual amb una lliçó de Science. 

Els alumnes de 1rB han treballat avuí els 5 sentits. En primer lloc hem recordat el vocabulari de les  "Parts del Cos" amb l'objectiu de relacionar-les desprès amb els "Sentits" a posteriori.

A continuació hem cantat la "Five Senses Song" que podreu trobar a aquest post i així la podreu gaudir a casa. 

A l'última part de la dinàmica hem fet una fitxa a la qual hem retallat, relacionat i enganxat els sentits amb les corresponents parts del cos.

En resum, hem gaudit practicant activitats diferents al mateix temps que hem après vocabulari nou.
